Ye (Formerly Kanye West) & Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 2’ Is #1 In 44 Countries On Apple Music

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign Vultures 2 has climbed to No. 1 in 44 countries on Apple Music including Austria, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Italy, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally the 16-track project dropped early Saturday morning (August 3), following an announced release date of August 2 and is the No. 1 album in the 26 countries including the U.S. on iTunes.

The track-list for the actual release differs significantly from an earlier version reportedly listed on yeezy.com earlier this week. ‘VULTURES 2’ expected to be “biggest debut” on the Billboard 200 next week according to Hits Daily Double.

Vultures 2 is available for streaming on Spotify and Kanye West’s YouTube channel, where it starts approximately 12 minutes into an hour-plus-long video, livestreamed at around 3 AM Eastern time on Saturday.

The release of Vultures 2 comes 5 months after its initial planned release on March 8. It was later announced for May 3 but despite these setbacks, Ty Dolla $ign assured fans that the album was still on the way, insisting during a May livestream with Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy: “It’s dropping ASAP. Vultures 2 is on the way. It’s coming soon. Any day now.”

At one point, Ty even suggested that the project would be released exclusively on Kanye’s YZY app instead of traditional streaming services — an idea previously floated by Ye but ultimately not implemented.

In addition to the delays, the ¥$ duo faced a significant leak of tracks from various Vultures sessions, with dozens of songs surfacing online in near-finished states.

Looking ahead, Ty Dolla $ign revealed plans for a Vultures “listening experience” in Taiwan on August 25. While further details regarding the venue and tickets are yet to be disclosed, the event promises to feature material from their second collaborative project.

This Taiwan performance will follow a similar listening experience in South Korea on August 23, announced earlier this month. These events come after the duo’s previously planned mini-tour of U.S. cities for their first Vultures album was canceled, reportedly due to “time constraints” in readying the performances.

Additionally, a separate show at the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Egypt was postponed, with a rescheduled date yet to be announced.

For fans eager to experience Vultures 2, the wait is finally over. Stream the project now and stay tuned for upcoming performances.

Vultures 1 album debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, earlier this year, Ye’s 11th No. 1.
