YouTube Jamaica Chart: Skippa Takes Over as Skatta Lopa Holds the Crown for a Fifth Week

This week’s YouTube Jamaica chart presented by World Music Views is giving full soap opera energy — plot twists, surprise debuts, and enough friendly rivalry to make even Spice side-eye her playlist.

At No. 1, for the week ending October 2, 2025, Jaame.sss , holds firm like a seasoned champion with “Beloved and Blessed (Reggae Version)”, racking up 367,205 views despite a slight dip in its fifth week at the top.

Sliding into No. 2 with steady ambition is Engee Dadon’s “Dancehall Jealousy,” which continues to gossip its way up the chart with over 353K views. Somewhere out there, a few insecure exes are nodding along too hard.

But the real chaos starts from No. 3 downward, because Skippa clearly decided this week was his week. The man has three songs in the Top 10, and they’re all climbing faster than a selector reaching for a pull-up. “10 Past 2” debuts at No. 5, “Go” jumps to No. 6, and “Evil” is haunting No. 7 — that’s a proper musical takeover. Somebody get this man a trophy and maybe a nap.

Valiant’s “Passenger Princess” drifts gently at No. 3 — perhaps chauffeuring vibes rather than streams — while Masicka’s “Rich Sex” (No. 4) continues to sound expensive, even if the weekly numbers are slightly down.

Further down, newcomers make noise: Jamal blesses us twice, debuting “Godspeed” at No. 8 while “Motivate” takes a dip to No. 19. Julian Marley gets cheeky with “Razz My Berries” at No. 9 — the title alone deserves views — and Skillibeng links with Vybz Kartel and Françoise Hardy for “New Gears” at No. 16, proving dancehall and French poetry can coexist.

And rounding out the list, Feloni19’s “Force Lakka Rabbit” hops into No. 18 — a title so Jamaican you can almost hear it shouted from a roadside sound system.
