The YouTube Jamaica charts this week look like a dancehall soap opera: Masicka storming in like an “Autocrat,” Shatta Wale pulling up with a “Street Crown,” and jaame.sss still clutching the No. 1 spot like it’s the last roti at a street dance.
At No. 1, jaame.sss’ “Beloved and Blessed (Reggae Version)” featuring Skatta Lopa refuses to move, even though the streams slipped by 23K. With 442,815 weekly clicks, it’s basically the national anthem for people who like their gospel marinated in roots reggae.
Masicka makes the week’s big entrance at No. 2 with “Autocrat” (388,653 streams), showing he’s not here to run for office — he’s here to seize it. The deejay already has two other songs in the Top 20, proving he’s running the playlist like Parliament. His older hit “Rich Sex” dips to No. 4 (304K, down 41K), while “Mute” hangs tough at No. 16 (134K). Three charting songs, one artist — clearly, Masicka is Jamaica’s current YouTube monarch, constitutional or not.
Skippa’s “Go” isn’t going anywhere but up, hitting No. 3 with 317K streams. Meanwhile, Valiant’s “Passenger Princess” is still chauffeuring fans at No. 5 (276K), even though the streams dipped a little. Apparently, nobody minds being the designated driver if it’s Valiant at the wheel.
The week’s spiciest twist comes from Shatta Wale, whose “Street Crown” debuts at No. 6 with 271K. The Ghanaian superstar just gate-crashed the Jamaican charts like he had a Kingston visa. Global dancehall is real, and Shatta’s making sure Portmore knows Accra’s got bars too.

Elsewhere, Ayetian’s “Wah Yo Deh Pan” moves into No. 7 (264K), because clearly everyone wants to know where everybody deh pan. Kraff Gad’s “Pretty Rockstar” slides down to No. 8 (224K), proving being pretty is hard work when the streams keep slipping.
Chronic Law shows up twice: “Blicky” debuts at No. 10 with 210K, while “NY Girls” stays steady at No. 11 (185K). Between blickys and Bronx love interests, the Law is covering all demographics.
The biggest casualty of the week is A!MS’ “Need Somebody,” which drops five spots to No. 14 after peaking at No. 1 twice. That’s a 45K stream collapse — basically a breakup in chart form.
Other notable movers: Najeeriii’s “Cloud Nine” re-enters at No. 9 (223K), Nhance’s “Stay to Myself” sneaks back at No. 18, and Vybz Kartel’s “I Know” free-falls to No. 19 (122K), losing 34K streams — not exactly the statement you want when you’ve branded yourself World Boss.
Finally, at No. 20 is the animated music video by HUNTR/X with “Golden” (117K). HUNTR/X (pronounced Huntrix) are a three-member girl group consisting of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, recognized as K-pop idols. They group security work as demon hunters.
