YouTube Jamaica Official Singles Chart – Week Ending October 24, 2024

This week’s YouTube Jamaica Top 20 chart has seen some movement, with Squash’s latest hit Get Up claiming the #1 position after a 2-spot climb, amassing 412,915 streams—a 154,101 boost over last week. Cash Code’s Rey Rico, a fan favorite for eight weeks, holds strong in second place with 259,008 streams despite a slight dip.

The YouTube Jamaica top 20 chart established in 2018 by WMV, calculates streams and views across all official channels for a track between Friday and Thursday each week.

Louis York’s “Have A Little Light” featuring Gramps Morgan clips to No. 9 after 8 weeks on the Chart. The track previously peaked at No. 7.

Notably, Psalms by newcomer Jamal debuts at #3 with an impressive 227,899 streams, suggesting rapid fan engagement through YouTube promotions and a solid start for this track. Other chart climbers include Chronic Law’s ATL, surging seven places to #12, and Rod Wave’s 25, up three spots to #13 with a 16,507-stream increase.

Meanwhile, Shubout by Squash and IKATION by Kraff Gad remain strong on the list, reflecting their staying power in the Jamaican music scene. Shubout, which has held #1 previously, sits at #7 with a respectable 184,351 streams in its 14th week. Kraff Gad’s IKATION inches up to #4, tallying 217,012 streams.

Several new entries signal fresh interest from fans. Skippa’s Tomorrow enters at #10 with 167,343 streams, and Radijah’s Oh God secures the #15 spot with 147,608 streams. Valiant’s GTKY also makes an entrance at #18 with a modest yet solid debut.

Substannzz’s Star Life, however, experienced the most significant drop this week, plunging 13 places to #14 after a sharp decline of 137,629 streams. Despite its early chart-topping success, its performance appears to be waning.

Returning to the chart is CeCe Winans’ Come Jesus Come, re-entering at #20. This track seems to have resonated, particularly in its message and delivery, appealing to a spiritual segment of listeners even in a chart dominated by reggae and dancehall.
