The Chicago artist faced criticism from fans who expressed concern over his behavior, accusing him of being unfaithful to his wife, Kirsten Corley.
One person said, “He was just dancing til he started slapping.”

However, others defended him, citing the cultural celebration of Carnival as a time to let loose. One of his defenders said, “Carnival in Jamaica is noiiiice but y’all wouldn’t understand what it means to ketch-a-whine.”
The woman in the video, Mela Millz, dismissed the criticism, stating that people were “doing too much.” Chance and Kirsten Corley have been married since 2018 and have two daughters together. Carnival In Jamaica is set for March 28 – April 8, 2024 with a combination of tailgate parties, concerts, dance sessions and more according to the Jamaican Tourist Board website. The festivities will happen in Ocho Rios and Montego Bay and Kingston.
