Capleton’s Heights Of Fire, released via Evidence Music has surpassed 35 million streams on Spotify globally. It is the highest streaming reggae album released this year as of October.

“It’s 16 years,” Capleton told World Music Views with a sound of relief. “It’s a long hiatus. The people are definitely waiting, anticipating. The admiration is great right across the globe. People can’t wait.”

Active in music since 1985, Capleton released his debut studio album, Lotion Man, in 1991. Few artists of his generation have matched his longevity or productivity, with 24 studio albums spanning more than three decades.

Meanwhile Vybz Kartel’s God & Time is the most-streamed dancehall album released on Spotify in 2026 with 24 million streams.

Kartel is followed by Shaggy with Lottery reaching just over 20 million. Masicka’s Forever Reign is the third most streamed dancehall album.
