KINGSTON, Jamaica — Family members of incarcerated rapper P. Diddy as well as Jamaican former Tivoli Gardens strongman Christopher “Dudus” Coke have strongly denied reports that they were involved in a violent confrontation at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey.

The allegations, first reported by TMZ, claimed that Coke attacked Combs during an altercation, leaving the Bad Boy founder with a serious head injury that required hospitalization.

However, Coke’s aunt, Angela Jackson, popularly known as “Angela Strikers,” has dismissed the claims as entirely fabricated.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Jackson described the reports as “completely false and nothing more than fake news.”

She insisted that her nephew has never met Combs and that the two inmates are housed in separate sections of the correctional facility, making the alleged confrontation highly unlikely.

According to Nationwide News, other sources close to Coke also rejected the allegations, maintaining that the two men have never crossed paths inside the prison.

The Breakfast Club also reported that Diddy’s family members deny the claims.

Alleged Dispute Over Prison Crackdown

The disputed TMZ report claimed that tensions erupted following an NBC News investigation into Combs’ alleged privileged lifestyle behind bars.

According to the allegations, the publicity prompted prison authorities to conduct searches throughout the facility, resulting in the confiscation of contraband, including a cellphone reportedly belonging to Coke.

The report further alleged that Coke blamed Combs for attracting unwanted attention from prison officials, leading to a violent confrontation.

It was also claimed that both men were subsequently placed in solitary confinement.

However, those allegations have been challenged by Coke’s family and sources cited by Nationwide News.

Family Urges Public to Reject False Reports

Jackson has urged members of the public to exercise caution when consuming sensational stories circulating on social media and entertainment websites.

She encouraged individuals seeking reliable information about federal inmates to consult official sources, including the United States Bureau of Prisons.

The controversy generated widespread attention online, with both Dudus and Diddy reportedly becoming leading trending topics on social media in Jamaica.

Questions Surround Dudus’ Release Date

Meanwhile, Nationwide News reported that Coke’s projected release date has been moved to January 2029, a year later than the January 2028 date previously identified by the news organization.

The reason for the reported extension remains unclear, and Nationwide News said it had contacted the Bureau of Prisons seeking clarification.

Coke was sentenced to 23 years in a United States federal prison in 2012 after pleading guilty to racketeering conspiracy and conspiracy to commit assault in aid of racketeering.

Combs, meanwhile, is serving a 50-month prison sentence related to transportation to engage in prostitution, with a reported projected release date in March 2028.

Despite the widespread circulation of the alleged prison fight, no official confirmation of the confrontation has been presented in the Nationwide News account.
