Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly rushed out of federal prison in the early hours of Saturday morning following a medical emergency involving a head injury.
According to TMZ, sources at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey revealed that an ambulance left the prison grounds around 1 AM, transporting the embattled hip-hop star for emergency medical attention.
While it is believed Diddy was taken to a nearby hospital, the exact location of his treatment has not been confirmed.
Fortunately, the injury was reportedly not life-threatening. Sources say the Bad Boy Records founder was conscious and speaking when he returned to the prison before sunrise.
The circumstances surrounding the head injury remain unclear, including whether it resulted from a fall or another incident.
The reported medical emergency comes amid a turbulent period for Diddy behind bars.
The music executive was recently placed in a special housing unit following allegations that he had been enjoying preferential treatment in prison, including access to massages, alcohol and a cellphone containing nude photographs.
Reports also indicate that Diddy was involved in an altercation with another inmate back in July.
Meanwhile, his projected release date has reportedly been pushed back from January 2028 to March 2028, extending his time behind bars by several weeks.
As of now, prison officials have not publicly confirmed the cause of his latest injury.
