Iration earns the highest debut of the year on this week’s Billboard Reggae Albums chart as their 11th studio album Where It All Began enters at No. 8 on the chart dated May 16, 2026.

Released on May 1, 2026, Where It All Began sees the Hawaiian-bred reggae outfit returning to the roots and influences that shaped their signature sound.

“For us, this record is about honoring the music that inspired us to start the band in the first place. It’s a nod to the records we grew up listening to, the islands that shaped us, and the feeling that made us want to make music together,” Micah Pueschel, of Iration stated.

Missing from this week tally is Ziggy Marley’s latest set Bright Side, his first studio record in eight years. It was released exclusively on translucent orange vinyl and CD on April 18 for Record Store Day, and became widely available on digital streaming platforms May 1. Ziggy’s previous project More Family Time also did not make the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. His last set to chart was 2018’s Rebellion Rising which peaked at No. 1.

However, Ziggy’s father continues to lead the chart for 331 weeks at No. 1 with Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley And The Wailers by Bob Marley And The Wailers.

Shaggy’s Best Of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection rises to No. 2, while Sean Paul’s The Trinity makes a return to the chart at No. 3. The album previously peaked at No. 1 and now extends its chart run to 168 weeks. Sean Paul’s Dutty Rock remains locked at No. 5, extending its total to 314 weeks.

Stick Figure continues to dominate the chart with three studio albums simultaneously inside the Top 10. World On Fire holds at No. 4, Wisdom remains at No. 7, and Set In Stone stays steady at No. 9 with 407 weeks on the chart.

Meanwhile, UB40’s Greatest Hits continues its long-running success at No. 6 with 390 weeks charting.

Closing out the Top 10 is another reggae classic, Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers, which slips to No. 10.

The latest chart once again highlights reggae’s enduring legends while also showcasing continued momentum from modern acts like Iration and Stick Figure.
