Buju Banton’s Too Too Bad falls to No. 10 on this week’s Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, extending its run to a second week and becoming the only album by a Jamaican artist released in 2026 to spend more than one week on the chart so far.
The VP Records project debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the chart dated August 1, after earning 2,066 album-equivalent units in its opening week, according to Luminate.
Too Too Bad is also the seventh album to debut on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart in 2026. Jamaican artists account for more than half of the year’s debuts so far with Vybz Kartel as the highest charting act from the Caribbean island.

American artists claimed four albums, while The English Beat’s The Beat at the BBC was the UK’s only debut.
On the latest Billboard Reggae Albums chart for the week of August 8, 2026, Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers, remains firmly planted at No. 1. for 342 weeks (343 total).
Holding steady at No. 2 is Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection, which extends its remarkable run to 373 weeks on the chart.
The week’s biggest stories is Sean Paul’s The Trinity re-entering the chart at No. 3. The 2005 album, previously peaked at No. 1, has now spent 175 weeks on the reggae chart. It features the international hits Temperature, We Be Burnin’ and Give It Up to Me.
Sean Paul also secures another spot in the top ten with Dutty Rock, which climbs to No. 5 in its 326th week on the chart.
American reggae band Stick Figure maintains a strong presence on the chart, occupying three positions in the top ten. World on Fire remains at No. 4, while Wisdom rises to No. 6 and Set in Stone moves up to No. 7. Combined, the three albums have spent nearly 1,000 weeks on the chart.
At No. 8, Bob Marley and the Wailers’ classic album Exodus continues its impressive run, spending its 144th week on the chart.
Elsewhere, Rebelution’s Live in St. Augustine makes a re-entry at No. 9 after previously peaking at No. 8.
