Dancehall artiste IWaata’s “Nuh Leff Mi Gun (Anthem)” debuts at No. 1 on YouTube Jamaica with 973,571 streams for the week ending July 30, 2026.
The single enters the chart at the top spot in its first week, becoming one of the strongest debuts of the summer and finishing more than 400,000 streams ahead of its closest challenger.
The Top Shootah directed music video released on YouTube on July 17, has surpassed 1.3 million streams globally. It is Iwaata’s first song career hit to debut at No. 1 in Jamaica.
The chart was particularly active this week, with six new entries making the Top 20.
After spending a week at No. 2, Bad Gyal Jade’s “Lead Out” climbs one place to second with 567,177 streams, posting an impressive gain of nearly 192,000 plays. The artiste also claims two additional spots in the top 10, with “Talk Truth” rising to No. 5 and “Baby Fada” jumping to No. 6, cementing her status as one of the week’s biggest winners.
Shaneil Muir records the chart’s largest leap within the top five, as “Man Fi Be Man” vaults seven places to No. 3 in just its second week, accumulating 303,599 streams.
Meanwhile, Jamarii’s “No Days Off” slips from its previous peak but remains firmly in the upper tier at No. 4, while Malie Donn’s “Van Cleef” continues its steady ascent, climbing three spots to No. 8.
The week’s highest new entry after IWaata belongs to Mavado, whose latest release, “Empty Barrel”, opens at No. 7 with 217,045 streams, reaffirming the veteran deejay’s enduring influence on the local market.
Further down the chart, Malie Donn scores another debut with “Vancleef Pt 2” at No. 10, while Lila Iké’s introspective “What It Feels Like” enters at No. 16. Popcaan returns to the rankings with “Inna Me Zone” at No. 19, and newcomer Potent rounds out the top 20 with “Father’s Absence.”
Not every act enjoyed upward momentum. Squash’s “16” suffered one of the sharpest declines of the week, tumbling eight places from No. 4 to No. 12 after losing more than 167,000 streams. Former chart-topper Skippa’s “Glocks and Chips” also dropped eight positions to No. 14, while “Detox” slid from second to ninth.
Elsewhere, veteran hitmaker Valiant continues his lengthy chart run with “Woii,” which has now spent 14 weeks on the chart despite falling to No. 17.
