Latto’s fourth studio album, Big Mama, debuts at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart. Released on May 29, 2026, through Streamcut and RCA Records, the album earned approximately 34,000 equivalent album units in its first week, marking the biggest first week sales for the Atlanta rapper.

Serving as the follow-up to her 2024 album Sugar Honey Iced Tea, Big Mama arrives as one of Latto’s most personal and ambitious projects to date. The 18-track set features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Doja Cat, 21 Savage, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Mariah the Scientist, Wizkid, Teyana Taylor, Odeal, and Jelly Roll.

The 16 track project was preceded by three singles: “Somebody,” which was released in May 2025, “Business and Personal (Intro),” and the GloRilla-assisted anthem “GOMF.” Upon announcing the album in March 2026, Latto also revealed that she was expecting her first child with rapper 21 Savage, adding another layer of anticipation to the project.

Among the album’s standout collaborations are “Okayyy” featuring Doja Cat, “Hostage” with 21 Savage, “Need Luv 2” alongside Sexyy Red, “4L” featuring Teyana Taylor, and the closing emotional track “Mama” with Jelly Roll. The project blends Latto’s trademark confidence and Southern rap swagger with more introspective themes surrounding motherhood, relationships, personal growth, and legacy.

The album generated headlines ahead of its release when Latto posted on X that Big Mama would be her “final album.” However, following the project’s release, she clarified that the statement referred to fulfilling her contractual obligations rather than retiring from music entirely, telling fans she was not stepping away from her career.

In addition to its Billboard 200 performance, Big Mama debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
