Jamaican dancehall superstar Shaggy was among the attendees at the prestigious Angel Ball 2026, held on Monday, October 19, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The annual black-tie charity gala, hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, brings together influential figures from entertainment, fashion, business, and philanthropy to raise funds for groundbreaking blood cancer and leukemia research.

This year’s event paid special tribute to legendary singer Dionne Warwick, who was named a 2026 honoree in recognition of her contributions and legacy.
The Angel Ball was co-founded by philanthropist Denise Rich, who hosts the event alongside her daughters, Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter. The foundation is dedicated to supporting innovative scientists working toward better treatments and cures for blood cancers.
The exclusive fundraising event featured premium ticket packages, with individual admission starting at $2,000 for Cherub tickets and $3,000 for Earth Angel tickets. A pair of Angel Wing tickets cost $15,000, while tables ranged from $20,000 for 10 guests to $100,000 for the prestigious Gabrielle’s Angel Table accommodating 12 guests.
