PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago — Shenseea has secured back-to-back wins in the Dancehall Song of the Year category at the Caribbean Music Awards, with the Jamaican dancehall star featured on the 2026 winning track.
Ghanaian singer Moliy took home the 2026 award for the international hit “Shake It to the Max (Fly) Remix,” featuring Jamaican dancehall heavyweights Skillibeng and Shenseea, at the ceremony held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
The victory gives Shenseea consecutive appearances on the winning Dancehall Song of the Year, following her 2025 victory for “Hit & Run”, her collaboration with Masicka and Di Genius.
The 2026 win also marked a milestone for Moliy, who became the first Ghanaian artist to win a Caribbean Music Award.
“Shake It to the Max (Fly) Remix” is the biggest international crossover dancehall song in the last year peaking at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming RIAA certified Gold for sale sand streams surpassing 500,000 units in the US., bringing together Ghanaian and Jamaican talent and further connecting African and Caribbean sounds.
At the 2026 ceremony, the track was also recognized in other categories, including Dancehall Collaboration of the Year and Dancehall Video of the Year.
The awards ceremony marked the first time the Caribbean Music Awards were staged in Trinidad and Tobago, with the event taking place at NAPA in Port of Spain.
