Karol G is heading into the 2026 HEAT Latin Music Awards as the most-nominated artist of the year, earning an impressive 10 nominations across major categories spanning artistry, collaborations, music videos, songs, albums and fan recognition. Bad Bunny follows with nine nominations, while Carlos Rivera and Shakira each received seven.
The Colombian superstar’s nominations are led by material from her Tropicoqueta era, along with two high-profile collaborations that earned multiple mentions.
Karol G is nominated for Best Female Artist and Best Urban Artist, while Tropicoqueta is up for Album of the Year. “Papasito” earned a nomination for Best Music Video.
“Coleccionando Heridas,” her collaboration with Mexican music legend Marco Antonio Solís, is also nominated twice: Best Collaboration and Song of the Year. The song has enjoyed recognition beyond the HEAT Awards as well, including nominations at the 2026 Latin Grammys.
Her collaboration “BbY WOW” with Spanish artists Judeline and rusowsky is one of her biggest contenders, receiving nominations for Best Collaboration, Song of the Year and Best Viral Song. The track therefore accounts for three of Karol G’s 10 nominations.
Rounding out Karol G’s nominations is Fandom of the Year, where her fanbase, the Bichoters, is recognized.

The nominations extend Karol G’s long history with the HEAT Latin Music Awards. Through the 2025 edition, she was already the ceremony’s most-awarded artist, with 20 wins across categories including Best Female Artist, Best Urban Artist, Best Music Video, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
Bby Wow producer Tainy is nominated for producer of the year.
This year also marks a new chapter for the awards themselves. The 2026 HEAT Latin Music Awards will take place Nov. 5 at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center in Jalisco, Mexico, marking the ceremony’s first edition held in Mexico. The event follows HEAT Week, scheduled from Oct. 31 through Nov. 5.
