Dancehall continues to reign supreme on the latest YouTube Jamaica Weekly Chart for the week ending July 23, 2026, with the genre accounting for 90% of the Top 20.
Of the 20 songs on this week’s chart, 18 are dancehall or reggae/dancehall releases, while JIHYO’s “Distant Lover” represents K-pop and Shakira’s “Dai Dai” awith Burna Boy a Latin flavor.
Skippa claims this week’s No. 1 debut with “Dead Opps,” which opened with local 408,556 streams.
The chart-topper marks another strong week for the deejay, who also places “Glocks and Chips” at No. 6 and “Detox”at No. 7.
With three songs in the Top 20, Skippa ties for the most entries by any artist this week.
Bad Gyal Jade delivers one of the week’s biggest performances.
She debuts “Lead Out” at No. 3 with 375,737 streams, while “Talk Truth” climbs to No. 8 and “Baby Fada” rises to No. 9.
Her three-chart presence makes her the top-performing female artist of the week and ties Skippa for the most songs in the Top 20.
