Puerto Rican producer Tainy 2019 hit “Adicto,” with Anuel AA and Ozuna, has officially surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify.
The achievement marks Tainy’s fourth song to reach the billion-stream milestone on the platform. It also becomes Anuel AA’s fourth song and Ozuna’s 10th song to achieve the feat.
Released on August 22, through NEON16 and Interscope Records, “Adicto” marked a significant moment in Tainy’s career as his first single as a lead artist and producer.
“Adicto” peaked at No. 86 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. The track also performed strongly across Latin America and Europe, reaching No. 3 in Spain, No. 5 in Argentina and No. 7 in Paraguay.
Beyond its chart success, the song earned several certifications worldwide, including 4× Platinum in Spain, Platinum in the United States and Brazil, and Gold in Italy and Portugal. It also received a Diamond streaming certification in Chile.
The song’s popularity extended to YouTube, where its official music video surpassed 1.3 billion views as of October 2026.
