MacDonald announced the released of the song on social media on Sunday July 14, a day after the incident saying, “I just dropped another new music video called “You Missed.” After the disgusting actions that took place yesterday…it had to be done.”
The Canadian rapper also celebrated the fact that the song replaces Eminem and Jelly Roll’s “Somebody Save Me” at the top spot on iTunes.

This self-released projected peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard 200 charts and number 83 in Canada. “The Brave 2,” with Adam Calhoun, was released on September 8, 2023, reached number 62 on the Billboard 200.
His other releases include “All Growed Up” (December 15, 2012), “See You Tomorrow” (December 21, 2015), “Deathreats” (August 1, 2018), and “Ghostories” (August 30, 2019), all self-released in CD or digital formats. Additionally, there was “Killing the Neighbors” (February 15, 2020) with Madchild, “Gravestones” (August 14, 2020), “As Far as the Stars” (April 9, 2021) with Nova Rockafeller and Brandon Hart, “Us Against the World” (September 3, 2021), “Renegade” (November 18, 2022), and “The Revolution” (November 18, 2022). None of these albums charted but were all self-released, primarily in CD format.
In January he drew the attention of Nicki Minaj with his collaboration with political commentator Ben Shapiro when she tweeted, “Ben Shapiro put out a diss record. MacDonald responded saying, “Hi Nicki I’m the other man rapping.”
The song titled “Facts,” debuts at #2 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with over 75K units sold.
