CLARENDON, JAMAICA — Dancehall and reggae fans are gearing up for an electrifying night of music and entertainment as legendary reggae artiste Capleton is set to headline the upcoming staging of Live Wire, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, at The Wharf Estate in Clarendon.
Live Wire Jamaica is in collaboration with Appleton Estate and follows the last staging of the series with Aidonia in St. Ann.
With a career spanning almost four decades, Capleton has cemented his place among reggae and dancehall’s most influential performers. His extensive catalogue includes fan favourites such as “Tour,” “Jah Jah City,” “Who Dem,” and “Slew Dem,” songs that continue to resonate with audiences locally and internationally.
Gates will open at 9:00 p.m., giving patrons the opportunity to settle in ahead of the night’s entertainment.
The Wharf Estate in Clarendon, Jamaica, is a historic waterfront property that has transformed from an 18th-century colonial maritime hub into a premier modern lifestyle, event, and culinary destination. Situated on an 18-acre property along Longs Wharf on the Salt River Road, its history is deeply tied to Jamaica’s sugar economy, maritime trade, and eventual cultural revitalization.
Joining Capleton on the Live Wire stage will be rising reggae and dancehall artistes Deep Jahi and Jamarii, who are also confirmed to perform live at the event. The addition of both entertainers promises to bring an exciting mix of musical styles and youthful energy to the show, complementing Capleton’s fiery performance.
