Chronic Law Tops Jamaica’s Streaming Chart for July 2026

Chronic Law remains Jamaica’s most-streamed artist for the seventh consecutive month in 2026. The deejay, who is currently detained in Florida, generates 9.34 million views, narrowly outperforming Skippa, according to YouTube data obtained by World Music Views.

Chronic Law accounts for 12.8% of the 73.06 million views generated by Jamaica’s Top 15 artists during the four-week tracking period.

All 15 top charting YouTube Jamaica acts are dancehall artists, with only one female artist—Bad Gyal Jade—appearing on the list.

Skippa finishes at No. 2 with 9.07 million views, just 270,000 views, or 2.9%, behind Chronic Law. Together, the two artists generate 18.41 million views, accounting for 25.2% of all streams among the Top 15 artists.

Vybz Kartel, the oldest artist in the Top 15, ranks third with 6.92 million views, representing 9.5% of the total market share. Despite a career spanning more than two decades, Kartel continues to compete directly with a younger generation of dancehall stars in the streaming era.

Malie Donn and Squash Complete the Top Five

Malie Donn places fourth with 5.48 million views, while Squash follows closely at No. 5 with 5.35 million.

Combined, the Top Five artists generate 36.16 million views, accounting for 49.5% of all streams among the Top 15.

Alkaline ranks sixth with 5.07 million views, becoming the final artist to surpass the five-million mark during the period.

Masicka lands at No. 7 with 4.74 million views, followed by Popcaan at No. 8 with 4.02 million.

Newer Names Make Their Mark

Feloni19 ranks ninth with 4 million views, while Bad Gyal Jade completes the Top 10 with 3.91 million views.

Bad Gyal Jade is also the highest-ranked woman on the list, finishing ahead of several established male artists and accounting for 5.4% of the total views generated by the Top 15.

Merkz places at No. 11 with 3.23 million views, followed by Valiant with 3.10 million.

Felony and producer DJ Mac each register 3.06 million views, placing at Nos. 13 and 14, respectively, while Jamal rounds out the Top 15 with 2.71 million views.
