First-Week Numbers For Shaggy’s Lottery Are In

Shaggy’s latest studio album, Lottery, has already surpassed 10 million streams globally on Spotify across all 13 tracks.

Released on May 15, 2026, the VP Records/Ranch Entertainment project moved the equivalent of 800 album units in the United States during its first week, powered largely by 650,000 on-demand streams along with 300 units from physical sales and digital downloads.

While the opening-week activity was not enough to secure a spot on this week’s Billboard Reggae Albums chart, the streaming milestone highlights continued listener interest in the project worldwide.

Lottery becomes the second major reggae release this year to miss the chart, following Ziggy Marley’s Bright Light.

Still, Shaggy remains present on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart through his Geffen compilation set, Best Of Shaggy: Boombastic Collection, which holds steady at No. 3 this week.

Elsewhere on the chart, The Elovaters make a strong debut with Shark Belly Motel, entering at No. 5 — the highest debut position for a reggae project so far this year.

Holding the top spot once again is Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley.

The Billboard Reggae Albums chart ranks the top-performing reggae projects in the United States based on a combination of album sales and official on-demand audio and video streaming activity.

Sean Paul scores two entries in this week’s top 10, with Dutty Classics at No. 2 and Dutty Rock at No. 7.

Further down the chart, UB40’s Greatest Hits lands at No. 6, while Stick Figure occupies both the No. 8 and No. 9 spots with Wisdom and Set In Stone, respectively. Rounding out the top 10 is Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers at No. 10.
