Jamaican reggae superstar Tarrus Riley has surpassed 1.5 billion combined streams and views across YouTube and Spotify.
The milestone includes over 850 million views on YouTube accross all official credited uploads and more than 650 million streams on Spotify,
On Spotify, his music has accumulated more than 664 million streams with Major Lazer and Ellie Goulding collaboration, “Powerful,” leading. The song has more than 356 million streams, earning almost 70,000 streams per day.
Other top recordings, including “She’s Royal,” “Superman,” and “Lighter,” have also enjoyed tremendous success, reinforcing Riley’s reputation as one of reggae’s most consistent hitmakers.
His top five recordings alone on YouTube accumulated 439 million YouTube views.
Among his biggest successes are “Powerful,” his collaboration with Major Lazer and Ellie Goulding, which has amassed over 153 million views; “Lighter,” alongside Shenseea and Rvssian, with 139 million views; “Superman,” with 58 million views; “Just the Way You Are,” with 52 million views; and “Simple Blessings,” featuring Konshens, with 37 million views.
