Dancehall artiste Allakine’s third studio album NPT has officially spent a full month at No. 1 on the Apple Music Jamaica chart.
The project released March 23, initially topped Apple Music charts in 11 countries, and a month later, it still holds the No. 1 spot in eight territories.
It currently sits at No. 1 in Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago. It also maintains strong positions in several other markets, including No. 2 in Barbados, St. Lucia and Turks and Caicos, as well as top 10 placements in the British Virgin Islands, Dominica and Anguilla.
On iTunes, the project also made notable strides, hitting No. 1 in the Cayman Islands and breaking into the top 10 in Barbados. The album’s breakout single, “Gyal Good,” has played a key role in driving its popularity, resonating strongly with listeners across the region.
NPT debuted at No. 10 in its first week of release on the US Reggae iTunes Chart where it spent one week. On YouTube, NPT reached No. 1 in Guyana, No. 2 in Trinidad and Tobago, and No. 3 in Belize, while also securing a top 10 position in Jamaica. Meanwhile, on Deezer, the project peaked at No. 10 in Jamaica, further underscoring its cross-platform appeal.
Even outside of the Caribbean, NPT has made its presence felt, charting in countries such as Seychelles, Sierra Leone and The Gambia — highlighting Allakine’s expanding global footprint.
