K-Pop group BABYMONSTER’s  “Choom” rises to No. 1 on YouTube Jamaica for the week ending May 21, 2026.

The title track from the group’s third EP, Choom, climbs 2-1 in its third week on the chart, earning 310,890 views and becoming the most-watched song in Jamaica during the tracking period. Released via YG Entertainment, the song is produced by Oskar Widén, Oliver Ländin, YG, P.K, Dee.P, 2K, Diggy, Kang Uk-jin, Aiplay, and Ends, the hip-hop-infused anthem.

For a K-pop act to top Jamaica’s YouTube chart is no small feat. The island remains one of the world’s most influential music markets, with dancehall and reggae dominating local consumption. Yet “Choom” managed to outperform a field packed with some of the genre’s biggest names, proving the group’s growing international appeal.

The rest of the chart reflects a particularly competitive week for Jamaican music with Di Genius’s Hill & Gully Riddim leading the genre . Valiant’s “Woii” climbs one spot to No. 2 with 228,311 views, while Masicka’s “Slip & Slide”, which previously spent three weeks at No. 1, falls to No. 3 despite pulling in an impressive 194,613 views.

Several local stars make strong debuts inside the Top 10. Aidonia’s “Tip Pon Yuh Toe” enters at No. 4 with 156,859 views, while reggae royalty Stephen Marley’s “Hills Of St. Ann,” bows at No. 6. 450’s “World on Fire” launches at No. 7, Shaneil Muir’s “Gi Gyal Money” starts at No. 8, and Govana’s “Mi Seh (Remix)” rounds out the newcomers at No. 10.

One of the week’s biggest movers belongs to Mi11ion, whose hit “Bang” vaults fifteen positions to No. 5. The song gains more than 29,000 views week-over-week and appears to be building momentum as a potential future contender for the summit.

Elsewhere on the chart, Feloni19 continues to show remarkable staying power. Both “How Often” (No. 9) and “Menace” (No. 12) remain inside the upper tier after eleven weeks on the ranking. Meanwhile, Merkz places three songs in the Top 15, led by “11Am in Ochi” at No. 13, alongside “Rich Mf” at No. 14 and “Retard” at No. 15, underscoring his growing presence in the Jamaican market.

Former chart leaders continue to hold their ground as well. Masicka’s “Boasty” remains inside the Top 20 at No. 16, while Medz Boss’ “Just Do It” extends its run to eighteen weeks at No. 17. Alkaline’s “Gyal Good” slips to No. 18, and Chronic Law’s “Badness Upgrade 2.0” returns to the chart at No. 20.
