KINGSTON, Jamaica — Ticket sales for BZR WKND Jamaica 2026 have reopened following a sudden suspension, despite rapper Cardi B indicating that she will not be performing at the highly anticipated festival scheduled for October 18–19 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
The development has raised fresh questions about the event’s future, as organisers have yet to directly address the rapper’s statement or provide assurances about refunds for patrons who purchased tickets expecting to see the Grammy-winning entertainer.
The festival’s ticketing platform shows that tickets are once again being advertised, with packages ranging from US$79.99 to US$649.99.
The reopening follows an earlier notice on the website announcing that ticket sales had been suspended indefinitely.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to inform you that ticket sales have been suspended until further notice,” the notice stated.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding,” it continued.
The suspension came amid developments surrounding Cardi B’s advertised appearance at the festival.
Organisers Acknowledge Developments but Remain Silent on Cardi B
Following the controversy, BZR WKND organisers issued a public statement acknowledging concerns surrounding the event.
“We are aware of the recent developments surrounding BZR WKND Jamaica 2026, scheduled for October 18 at Jamaica’s National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica,” the statement read.
“We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding this event, and we recognize that fans and ticket holders are looking for clarity.”
However, the statement did not directly address Cardi B’s announcement that she would not be coming to Jamaica, nor did it explain whether the festival would proceed without its advertised headline act.
Instead, organisers indicated that discussions were ongoing.
“Our team is actively working through the latest developments, and we will share an official update as soon as additional details are confirmed,” the statement continued.
“We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support.”
Despite that acknowledgement, ticket sales have since resumed, with no detailed public explanation accompanying the reopening in the material reviewed.
No Clear Assurance on Refunds
While organisers have acknowledged that ticket holders are seeking clarity, neither the suspension notice nor the subsequent public statement provided an explicit assurance that patrons would receive refunds if Cardi B does not perform.
The statements also did not indicate whether customers would be eligible for refunds if the event proceeds with a revised lineup.
Ticket prices currently being advertised, including a Cardi BZR WKND Pass for the stage pit are US$649.99 and a Cardi WIP Zone floor ticket at US$369.99.
Other options include the Bardi VIP Zone at US$169.99 and Tier 3 grandstand tickets at US$149.99.
Ticket Sales Resume as Questions Persist
Before the suspension, the festival’s website had been promoting strong demand for tickets.
“TIER 3 ON SALE NOW!” one promotional notice declared, while another stated, “TIER 2 TICKETS ALMOST SOLD OUT!”
The website also advised purchasers that confirmation emails could be delayed because of the volume of sales.
“Due to the overwhelming demand for BZR WKND Jamaica 2026 Presents: Cardi B — Likkle Miss Drama, ticket purchasers have been placed in an email queue to receive their official ticket purchase confirmation,” the notice stated.
However, the subsequent suspension, Cardi B’s statement and the reopening of sales have created uncertainty among patrons surrounding the event.
