Sean Paul may not have released an album in 2026, but the dancehall star has surpassed 2.5 billion global streams this year, according to Luminate.
Figures obtained by World Music Views show that, from January 2 through October 1, 2026, Sean Paul’s music generated more than 2.5 billion global on-demand audio streams. His catalog also accumulated 434 million on-demand audio streams in the United States, the most among dancehall artists during the period.
With recordings spanning more than two decades, the Grammy-winning Jamaican artist continues to attract hundreds of millions of streams across digital platforms, underscoring the sustained global demand for his music.

His top 5 songs generated 1.791 billion global on-demand audio streams during the period and is lead by the 2006 hit “Give It Up To Me” with Keyshia Cole with 600 million on-demand audio streams.
The track, originally featured on his The Trinity album, is produced by Don Corleone and has experienced renewed international attention in 2026, including a return to the United Kingdom’s Official Streaming Chart, where it reached No. 25 earlier this year.
“No Lie” with British-Albanian pop star Dup Lipa ranks second with 380 million global streams, followed by Temperature with 310 million.
“Rockabye,” his collaboration with Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie, ranks fourth with 286 million streams, while “Get Busy” completed the top five with 207 million.
The performance illustrates how Sean Paul’s catalog bridges traditional dancehall, reggae fusion and international pop, allowing his music to maintain a substantial audience long after its original release. Approximately 82.5% of Sean Paul’s reported global on-demand audio streams came from markets outside the United States, equivalent to 2.05 billion streams according to Luminate.
His album catalog also posted substantial streaming numbers, led by his 2017 compilation Dutty Classics Collection(VP Records), which generated 1.655 billion global on-demand audio streams during the reporting period.
The Trinity (2005) is his highest streaming studio album and second overall with almost 1 billion million global streams this year alone, while his Grammy-winning breakthrough album Dutty Rock followed with 488 million.
Mad Love The Prequel, released in June 2018 via Island Records, recorded 424 million streams, and Tomahawk Technique, released in 2012, completed the top five with 283 million.
The figures represent streaming activity attributed to each album title. They should not be added together to calculate Sean Paul’s overall streaming total, as songs can appear across multiple albums and compilations.
